King Sound was the second area (after Roebuck Bay) in Northern Western Australia to be researched by the now-experienced group of scientists. Unfortunately, the tidal surge was too strong for the establishment of any significant communities of benthic invertebrates. As a result of the lack of food, this area is not visited by many wading birds. View the preliminary report. |
